Women's Swim Has Dominant Performance On Senior Day

Lansing, Kan.- The Univeristy of Saint Mary Women's Swimming team hosted Sterling College and Maryville University on Saturday, resulting in a first-place finish. The SPires also recognized five seniors before the meat for their hard work and dedication to the program. 

 

Sydney Jones, Reagan Salsbury, Kaelyn Lowery, and Reagan Baird started things off strong for Saint Mary, winning the 200-yard medley relay by more than four seconds. Olivia Ringel continued the dominant performance with a first-place finish in the 1000-yard freestyle event. In the next freestyle event, Ayla Pierce gave the Spires another win in the 200-yard event. The women's team went on to win all but two events and put up 215 team points for wins over Sterling and Maryville.

The Spires will compete in the two-day Eagle Invite starting Friday in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
