Marion, Ind.- The University of Saint Mary Women's Outdoor Track and Field team concluded events at the 2023 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Friday. 

The women's team came away with seven athletes named All-Americans, three of which reached the threshold twice throughout the meet. On day two, the 4x800m team of Maddie Walter-Sherretts, Alyssa Armendariz, Riley Hiebert, and Carlie Gregg ran a 9:13.52 and finished in sixth place. That same day Reagan Hiebert took fourth place with a time of 17:20.93 in the 5000m event. 

The Spires had two more strong performances on day three from Armendariz and Riley Hiebert in the 3000m Steeplechase, coming in fourth and sixth, respectively. 

Overall the women's team broke six school and multiple conference records over the course of the Outdoor Season.
