Leavenworth, Kan.—USM cross-country has been busy as yet another KCAC Men's Cross-Country Runner of the Week honor belongs to the Spires.

Kenneth Howell from Lansing, Kansas dominated the course this week at the NAIA Blazing Tiger Invitational where he placed 4
th out of 341 runners with a final time of 24:50 in the 8,000-meter race. Howell was notably the top KCAC finisher of the meet where he and his Spire teammates took home first place overall.
Howell and his fellow Spires are gearing up for a very exciting and crucial month of November, where USM is set to host the KCAC Cross-Country Championships at their on-campus course on Saturday, November 8
th in Leavenworth, Kansas. USM is in an excellent position as their season enters its most critical time with both the KCAC and NAIA National Championships slated for November.
