Josie Tyrrell from Mission, Kansas has been named Women's Cross-Country Runner of the Week for the third time in this 2025 season.
This honor came after another stellar performance at the NAIA Blazing Tiger Invitational in Omaha, Nebraska. Tyrrell took home 2
nd place out of 275 runners in the meet, with a final time of 21:16 in the 6,000-meter race, and was notably the top KCAC finisher. Spire women's cross-country finished second overall at the meet, only dropping to #9 College of Idaho. Tyrrell and her teammates take a small break and begin preparation for Saturday, November 8

Josie Tyrrell has been hailed by coaches as an exceptionally hard worker and senior leader. Tyrrell's efforts have truly bolstered her team at such a pivotal point in the season as we are quickly approaching both the KCAC Championships and the NAIA Cross-Country National Championships in the busy month of November.
