Leavenworth, Kan.—USM Swim team racked up post-season honors after their most successful and decorated post season yet.
The Spires tallied seven female swimmers through All-KCAC Second Team and All-KCAC First Team, and one Spire male athlete landing himself on All-KCAC First Team.

The Spire Swimmers have earned every bit of the post-season recognition they've accumulated. Among the eight athletes recognized in the post-season, seven of them—
Ian Lucas,
Sania Cay,
MaryBeth Clark,
Olivia Ringle,
Ayla Pierce,
Reagan Salsbury, and
Taya Swarts—were invited to compete at the NAIA National Swim Meet, the highest number of individual qualifiers USM Swim has ever had under the helm of coach
David Bresser.
USM left it all in the pool at the national meet in Elkhart, scoring on both the men's and women's side, another first for the Spire squad.
Ian Lucas represented the USM men, earning 21
st overall in the nation, while the women, bolstered by a record-breaking 400 Free relay team, finished 17

Coach Bresser also proudly announces that the Spire men were named the 2026 KCAC Men's Swim/Dive Team of Character. This honor recognizes the leaders that coach Bresser's program attracts and cultivates throughout their years spent with USM Swim. The University of Saint Mary is thoroughly impressed and proud of the USM men's and women's swim team and their coaches for their incredible dedication and grit in and out of the pool.
