Gainesville, Fla.—Josie Tyrrell would be the lone Spire athlete on the bittersweet final day in Florida in the women's 5,000m run. It comes as no surprise that Josie would add yet another accolade to her resume with a 7
th overall finish in the nation and a speedy time of 17:31.04. With this top 8 final, Josie has earned All-American recognition in the women's 5,000-meter event, an incredible feat for the senior with her 2026 Outdoor T&F campaign still ahead.
A huge congratulations to all of our Spire athletes who gave it their all this weekend at the 61st annual Indoor T&F Championship. Spire T&F will just barely have enough time for a quick rest before they begin their outdoor season on Friday, March 20
th at home as they host the Spire Distance Carnival on Friday and the Spire Team Challenge on day two, Saturday, March 21
st.
