Leavenworth, Kan.—The Spire men's bowling team delivered a season defined by steady growth and strong competition. Throughout the year, Coach Beall's group showed resilience on the lanes, consistently stepping up against tough competition and gaining valuable experience with every tournament. The Spires work ethic and team-first mindset helped set the tone for a program continuing to build its identity and momentum.

The USM men were led by junior Kalym Henry this season as the Roy, Washington native average 189 on the lanes and successfully secured a top 25 finish this year. Zaylen Dear would also be a standout this year for the Spires as the junior from Towanda, Kansas would also earn a top 25 finish and average 185 through his exciting season.

The veteran squad would battle each week and began to build the foundation they're proud of and gained in-game experience to develop consistency through hard work to lay the groundwork for continued growth and long-term success for seasons to come. The Spire men will graduate four-year starter Dantoine Ballard alongside senior teammate Emilio Gutierrez and are extremely proud of what they've given to their team throughout their seasons of competition.

Coach Beall is optimistic about what lies ahead for his program. The combination of a strong returning core and a promising incoming recruiting class provides room for continued competitiveness.

Alongside key contributors like Henry and Dear stepping into important roles, there's confidence that the team will be able to take meaningful strides forward next season, and the USM community is excited for what's next for Spire Bowling.
