Coach Farag comes to USM with experience at the NAIA, Division 2, Division 3, and high school levels.

As a player at the University of Minnesota - Morris, he earned First Team All-Conference honors in 2019 as a defensive lineman. Farag was the first player in school history to be named to the D3Football.com Team of the Week.

After his playing career, he spent time as a graduate assistant at Upper Iowa University and William Penn University, where he earned his Masters in Sports Management. Coach Farag then returned to the high school ranks where he served as the head coach at Windom Area High School in Windom, MN. He spent two years there, coaching five All-District players and breaking an eight year playoff win drought. 

He and his family then relocated to Platte City, where they now reside.
