Coach Farag comes to USM with experience at the NAIA, Division 2, Division 3, and high school levels. As a player at the University of Minnesota - Morris, he earned First Team All-Conference honors in 2019 as a defensive lineman. After his playing career, he spent time as a graduate assistant at Upper Iowa University and William Penn University, where he earned his Masters in Sports Management. Coach Farag returned to the high school ranks where he served as the head coach at Windom Area High School in Windom, MN. He spent two years there before him and his family relocated to Platte City, where they now reside.
