Saint Mary baseball fell 4-2 to MidAmerica Nazarene at home on Thursday. The loss drops the Spires to 7-7 on the season.Nic Amerio, Josh Decker, Riley Veith, Zach Kolenda, Reese Stevenson, John Christopher, and Keeton Krause all pitched for Saint Mary. The staff allowed just four runs over nine innings, with just one being earned. The Spires could only muster two runs as they took the loss. After trailing 2-0 heading to the fifth inning, Saint Mary would tie the game. MidAmerica would add a run in the sixth and ninth innings to final the score. Saint Mary opens conference play Friday with a double header at McPherson beginning at 3pm.
