Saint Mary women's basketball improved to 11-13 on the season with a non-conference victory over Grace, 76-65.
Saint Mary matched Grace with 17 points each in the first quarter before the Spires pulled out to a five point lead by halftime. Grace would cut the lead down to one point by the close of the third quarter, but Saint Mary would seal the game by outscoring Grace 24-14 in the final period.
Andrea McClary and Kelsey Switzer each had 16 points to pace the Spires. Jessica McAdams chipped in 11 points and Imani Dixon finished with 10. Dixon led Saint Mary in rebounds with eight. Saint Mary shot 48% from the floor and 82% from the free throw line in the win.
The Spires return to KCAC action today when they travel to Linsborg, KS for a matchup with Bethany beginning at 6pm.
