Spires Snap Losing Streak With 57-46 Win Over McPherson

McPherson, Kan. – University of Saint Mary women's basketball head coach Katelyn Loecker returned to her hometown, and coached the Spires to a key 57-46 win over McPherson College Saturday afternoon, inside the McPherson College Sport Center.

The win snapped a three-game losing streak as the Spires are now (3-9 overall, 2-7 KCAC).

GAME FLOW
The Spires continued their good shooting from their previous game as they shot 45.7 percent from the field. Another great team effort as eight different girls scored for the Spires, and three of them were in double figures. After trailing at halftime 27-23, the Spires fought back and played well in the second half which allowed them to take the lead and keep it. Saint Mary held McPherson to just seven points in the final period.
