LEAVENWORTH, Kan. – The University of Saint Mary men's soccer team faced a tough opponent in Park University Saturday afternoon at Berkel Memorial Stadium, falling 3-0.

Park got on the board at the 19:38 mark of the first half with a goal from Rafael Pinheiro. The Spires had a couple opportunities in the first half as Jay Willcutt and Ever Hernandez (2) combined for three total shots. One of Hernandez's shots was saved by the Pirates' goalkeeper, Peyton LaFerla.
Park added another goal with 17:21 remaining in the first half to take a 2-0 lead into halftime.
The Spires had a chance at another goal at the 12:25 mark when Kevin Garcia ripped a shot towards the net, but it was blocked by a Park defender. Park scored their third goal of the game with 16:47 remaining in the second half to secure the win.
