Leavenworth, Kan. – The University of Saint Mary men's basketball team was unable to pull off the upset against the top team in the nation, Oklahoma Wesleyan University Wednesday night in the Ryan Sports Center. The final score was 87-62.

GAME FLOW
The Spires had hopes to pull off the big upset, but had an uncharacteristic night in shooting as they went 18-for-56 from the field and 9-for-30 from the three point line. A slow start for the Spires proved to be tough throughout the game, as Oklahoma Wesleyan quickly grabbed a double-digit lead and never looked back. In hopes to find a spark somewhere, many Spires got playing time and 10 different players scored.
