Women's Basketball Falls To Seventh-Ranked Warriors

Sterling, Kansas – The University of Saint Mary women's basketball team fell to seventh-ranked Sterling College Saturday afternoon, 86-70 inside the Gleason Center.

The Spires are now 4-15 overall and 3-13 KCAC.

GAME FLOW
The Spires came out with fire against the 7th ranked Warriors team and kept up with them throughout the first quarter, but hot shooting for Sterling allowed them to take a big halftime lead. Despite three Spires scoring in double digits - Paige Scheckel, Tiani White and Dakota Corle, the 59.6 percent hot shooting by Sterling denied a comeback.
