HILLSBORO, Kan. – The University of Saint Mary volleyball team was able to continue their dominant hot streak with a 3-1 (23-25, 25-19, 25-15, 25-22) win over Tabor College Tuesday night, for their 11th straight win.
The Spires have hit 20 victories with a 20-7 overall record and are 6-0 in the KCAC, in sole possession of first place.
Saint Mary faltered in the first set with a narrow 25-23 loss, but would quickly rebound in the next two sets. Jessica Malizzi broke a tie in the middle of the second set to give the Spires a 16-15 lead. The Spires would roll late in the final few points after taking a 21-17 lead to win 25-19.
