Spires shut out in loss at Park

PARKVILLE, MO. - The University of Saint Mary women's soccer team fell to Park University in a 0-5 defeat. Park took control early, with Lilli Porsch scoring just one minute into the match. The Spires struggled to gain momentum, with Park dominating possession and outshooting Saint Mary 20-7.

In the second half, Park extended their lead with three more goals. Despite the efforts of the Spires, they were unable to break through Park's defense, resulting in a tough shutout loss on the road.

 

Up next 

The Spires will continue non-conference play as they travel to take on Graceland University at 1 p.m. on August 31st.
