York, Neb.—Spire Men's Basketball clinched a big road win against the York Panthers with a final score of 76-59 on Wednesday, November 19th, in York, Nebraska.
The first half saw Saint Mary quickly taking command with
Kaeden Bonner opening the scoring with a dynamic 3-pointer. The pace intensified as
Damare Smith added several 3-pointers—four in total on the night. By mid-period, the Spires had built a notable 16-point lead with
Joe Clark's dunk off a fast break being a highlight. The half closed on a high note with the Spires leading 39-25.
The second half opened up quick with
Damare Smith netting yet another three from deep, fortifying the lead further. With seven steals in this period alone, the Spires intensified their defensive pressure.
