Saint Mary will be returning seven athletes with substantial varsity experience, known for having the second-best defensive statistics in terms of goals against average during Seever's tenure as coach.

Spire women's soccer ended their season in a heartbreaking way at Kansas Wesleyan University in the quarterfinal round of the KCAC Women's Soccer Championships on November 5th, falling to the Coyotes on Penalty Kicks 4-2. The USM women's soccer squad finished with an overall record of 7-5-7 with a conference end of 5-3-5.
