Liberty, Mo.—Spire men's and women's swim competed in their first dual of the 2026 portion of the season. USM traveled to Liberty, Missouri to compete against the DII Cardinal's of William Jewell College. After a competitive afternoon, the Spire women would tally 56 points while the men would earn 45 points, unfortunately just not enough to overpower WJC.

Men's and women's swimming will have a quick turnaround and be back in action this Saturday, January 10^th at 12:00 p.m. as they host Rockhurst University at Lansing HS Natatorium for Senior Day recognition!
