Baldwin City, Kan.—Spire dance took on the Baker Classic this weekend in the Collins Center on the campus of Baker University, their first of back-to-back competitions on the Wildcats home court.

Kinleigh Brecheisen had glowing things to say about her squad. The Spires showed highly elevated energy levels and an overall solid performance this weekend in the highly competitive showcase. The group is continuing to improve and enhance their skill sets and value each performance they have as the season quickly winds down with just two more regular season competitions before the KCAC Championships hosted at York University.
The Spire dance team will head back to Baldwin City for a triangular competition on Wednesday, March 4
th between USM, the Baker Wildcats, and fellow KCAC opponent the Ottawa Braves. Next week proves to be a busy one for Spire dance as they will wrap up the KCAC/Heart Challenge at Baker on Wednesday and then head straight to McPherson College to again compete in the Dog House Classic on Saturday, March 7
th.
