Leavenworth, Kan.— Spire women's soccer held Briar Cliff (Iowa) to one goal through the first half, but three goals after halftime sent USM to a 4-0 loss. Brooks provided the decisive breakthrough at 21:38, scoring from Derbyshire's assist to give BC the lead.

Allena Collins put the Spires' first shot on goal at 45:57, forcing a save, and
Taylor Heim sent another attempt wide right less than two minutes later. Briar Cliff answered at 57:45 when Molin scored from Crespo's assist to extend the lead to 2-0.

Briar Cliff finished with a 30-3 advantage in shots and a 15-2 edge in shots on goal. USM earned three corner kicks and placed two of its three second-half attempts on frame. Darjee produced the Spires' final chance at 84:31, testing goalkeeper Jacobs with a shot on goal.
