Mackenzie Cabrini (Skupa) is entering her first season at the helm of the USM Women's Basketball program.

While this marks her first season as head coach, she is a familiar face to the Saint Mary community. She has spent the previous six seasons as an assistant coach for the program. During her tenure as an assistant she has played a vital role in player development, scouting, and recruiting, all while helping the program to a conference championship, three NAIA National Tournament Appearances, and a multitude of all-conference player honors. She is dedicated to continuing a culture of excellence, discipline, and teamwork. Her focus remains on empowering student-athletes to achieve their highest potential on the court and in the classroom. 

Prior to Saint Mary, Mackenzie built a strong foundation in her coaching and playing career at Southwest Baptist University where she spent four seasons as a student athlete and three seasons as a Graduate Assistant.

A native of Campbell, NE, she earned both her bachelors and masters degree at Southwest Baptist University and resides in Leavenworth with her husband.
