Men's Bowling

Spires Compete in Leatherneck Invite

Moline, Ill.- The University of Saint Mary Men's and Women's Bowling programs competed in the Leatherneck Invitational over the weekend, resulting in 27th and 26th place finishes, respectfully. 

 

Men

For the men, Joshua Kacich led the Spires with an average score of 198.8 over the weekend. Dantone Ballard had the second-best average on the weekend for Saint Mary, averaging a score of 181.

 

As a team, the men put together a team score of 7109 for a 27-place finish.

 

Women

Carmen Silva led the charge for the women's team, averaging a score of 155 over the weekend and finishing in the top 100 out of 270 bowlers. The Spires second second-best bowler of the weekend was Katie Limon, who averaged a score of 143 during the two-day event. 

 

With the help of Silva and Limon, Saint Mary ended the weekend with a team score of 6198 and a 26-place finish.

The Univeristy of Saint Mary Bowling programs will compete in the Mustang Invite on December 2 in Sioux City, Iowa.
