Jayhawk Collegiate Challenge—USM men's and women's bowling hit the lanes this past weekend in the Jayhawk Collegiate Challenge with the Spire men competing in Lawrence, Kansas and the women's side competing in Topeka, Kansas.
The USM men battled through 5 games on Saturday, Oct. 25
th with athletes Kelton Craig (tournament avg. of 213.8), 
Kalym Henry (190.2), Dantoine Ballard (189.8), and 
Alex Prescott (176.8) taking the top spots bowling a total score of 1069, 951, 949, and 884, respectively.
On Sunday, USM bowled 16 Baker games that would earn them a total score of 2840, this would earn USM an overall tournament average of 177.5 through 16 Baker games and land USM Spire men a team placement of 13
th overall.
The Spire bowling team will have their sights set on November now as they will take a small break to recover and prepare for the NAIA Invitational the weekend of Friday, November 14
th-Sunday, November 16
th in Topeka, Kansas.
