Jayhawk Collegiate Challenge—USM men's and women's bowling hit the lanes this past weekend in the Jayhawk Collegiate Challenge with the Spire men competing in Lawrence, Kansas and the women's side competing in Topeka, Kansas.

Jordan Reynolds taking the top spots for USM (4001 total team points) with individual scores of 870, 841 and 812 respectively, through 5 games bowled, with fellow Spire
Tayler Lindstrom close behind at 637 with 4 games bowled on the day. Overall, this earned USM a tournament average on Saturday of 174, 168.2, and 162.4 respectively, with Lindstrom close behind with an average of 159.25.
On Sunday, the final day of play, Spire women's bowling completed 16 Baker games. Through 16, USM tallied a final score of 2312, giving them a Sunday tournament average of 144.5, earning 10
th place overall in this Tier 2 tournament.
The Spire bowling team will have their sights set on November now as they will take a small break to recover and prepare for the NAIA Invitational the weekend of Friday, November 14

th in Topeka, Kansas.
